“Skeeter Bug”, you had a heart of gold, wisdom and wit of a scholar, the patience of a priest, and the best pancakes, spaghetti, and chicken wings that Indianapolis has ever been graced with. Lucky are those who met you; Honored are those who knew you; and Blessed are those that were Loved by you. You always told me that you were my brother in law only on paper, because you were my Brother and my Family in real Life forever. Thank you for always being there for your nephews, Asim and Malik. You gave them gifts of wisdom, love, and laughter that will never be forgotten or taken for granted by either one of them. Asim and Malik will forever cherish the precious and priceless memories they have of their Uncle Skeeter.
We miss you now and forever more.
Until we meet again my sweet brother, rest in peace……….

I am sorry about the passing of Grayson. I am afraid that I didn’t know him that well, he worked on day shift in day warehouse and I worked second shift in production. But when I would do full fork we would help each other by me stocking an area for him with the product that production was running or he would clear out a row for me, and sometimes we would chat while we happen to in the breakroom at the sametime or in the locker room when I would be coming into work while he was getting off work. He was just the type of guy that I respected a great deal. Now I feel sad because a great guy has left us and I just miss those little pleasentries with him. I wish I could express my condolences better and ever since I learned of his passing I’ve kept his family in my prayers.———-Respectfully yours, Paul Maag

To the family Grayson “Skeeter” Barrett: I learned of his passing from his cousin Shelia Bourne and I can’t tell you how shocked and saddened I was to hear of it. I am so very sorry for your loss. I still can’t believe it. I met him in 1972 and was blessed to have known him. He was a very intelligent man and very well read. I pray that Christ will keep you and give you His peace.
